現在、奈良ー飛鳥ー高取山の麓にある朽ちかけた大きな古民家を改修して、みなさんの力をお借りして、作り上げて行く未完成の保養所「RAINBOW USAGI HOUSE」の立ち上げを準備しています。
二百年前の古民家は、トイレは汲取式、キッチンは竃で、ほぼ非電化です。
正直、私達、現代の大人にも全く慣れない環境です。
そんな、不便さの反面、澄んだ湧き水、野生の動物、新鮮な野菜や果物、しこたまかけまわることのできる山や沼があり、ここには広大な肥沃の棚田があり、保養に来た福島のこども達とお母さん達と畑仕事をし、新鮮な野菜や果物を育て、その収穫した新鮮な食べ物を福島に還元していく予定です。
ここに訪れるこども達も大人もいつでも戻って来て、ほっとできるような、第二の故郷の様な存在になるまで続けたいと思っています。
畑仕事だけでなく、ツリーハウスやストローベイルハウスやかまどを造ったり、高取山をトレッキングしたり、Artist達がパフォーマンスしたり、展示をしたり、お祭りを開いたり、様々な試みをする予定です。
この場では、みんなでざっくばらんに話合い、どのような家にしていくかを話合います。みんな初めてのことです！！！
まだまだ、改修が必要で、泊まる事がやっとの状態で、アイデアも人手も資金も必要です。
ぜひ、知恵やマンパワーをお貸し下さい。

今後は、通年オープンを目指して、夏にはしっかりとしたプログラムで
みなさんを迎え入れたいと思っております。Rainbow Usagi Houseの
周りには、たくさんの使用可能な畑があります。何か育てたい野菜や果物があれば
種を植えて育てて行きましょう。夏前にももちろん利用可能です。本当にみなさんの協力が必要です。ぜひ気軽に来て下さい。

RAINBOW USAGI HOUSE IN NARA- ASUKA
Recharge for Fukushima Kids
We are now preparing to launch the RAINBOW USAGI HOUSE, recuperation facilities for people, especially kids, in Fukushima at the outskirt of Mt. Takatori in Asuka, Nara where the historical district in Japan. It is on going project and developed as better facility by many peoples help and support in future.
There are magnificent rich terraced rice-fields and 200 years olds traditional Japanese house on site. The kids and mothers from Fukushima work in the field to grow and harvest many vegetables and fruits. Those fresh and safe foods are planed to send to Fukushima.
The old house has pit toilet, typical cooking stove and wood stove. This non/less electrified life is inconvenient and inexperienced environment for us, living in the present age. On the other hand, there are forest and field where kids can play around, and the nature gives blessings of the nature, such as pure springs, wild animals, fresh vegetables & fruits.
We hope this RAINBOW USAGI HOUSE becomes the second home for the people in the disaster area by Tohoku Earthquakes.
We also intend to build tree houses, straw-bale & cooking range, to trek the Mt. Takatori, and to hold the Artist performances & exhibitions. We are planning to do various attempts to enjoy the life here.
We will invite the some family from Fukushima and host the opening ceremony under the theme, “sowing the seeds” from 29th March to 2nd April. We also discuss about the vision and futures of the project among the people get together. This is just beginning.
We are still seeking lots of help and support. The old house still requires many hands to repair and renovation. Any funding mutual effort and corporation would help for the projects. Let’s act together.
